Sylvan Lake Watershed Stewardship Society What We Do, Constitutionally promote the sustainability of the Sylvan Lake Watershed and aquatic ecosystem. increase awareness of all stakeholders of the importance of maintaining a healthy lake and aquatic ecosystem. support the development of a Sylvan Lake Watershed Protection Plan. encourage and develop stewardship partnerships. provide opportunities for the active participation on a community basis in the management of the Sylvan Lake Watershed. gain support of and encourage shared responsibility by and cooperation of citizens, communities, industries, businesses and government for the sustainability and management of the Sylvan Lake Watershed. support on-the-ground and regionally based solutions to ensure the protection of the Sylvan Lake Watershed . identify issues, gather information and develop and implement action plans. support required science based studies of the lake and its watershed.
