  3. Hungary • Very difficult economic and financial situation • High level of deficit of budget • High level of national debt (above 80%) • Sad project of state budget to 2012

The healthcare • Fundamental questions around the system • State organization and direction instead of health insurance system with keeping on the institutions of National Health Insurance Company! (?) /Absolut mixed, furious situation/ • The decision makers don’t knowreally well what they want to create. Behind us a big political-financial fight happens. • Absolutely and relatively very low budget! • Quickly rising lack of doctors and nurses! • Initiation of residents

Hungarian Medical Chamber • 2006-2007 political experiment to destroy the chambers at the healthcare field – consequences • New regime – new law about us 2010-11 • The membership became mandatory again • Complete and unique ethical judge • New general assembly has already created a new constitution and ethical code • In December the new presidency of the HMCwill be elected
