  1. From Jungle to Concrete Jungle: A plead to save the trees By: Michael DiLeo February 8, 2010

  2. What is the message?Nothing can replace a tree. Wrote on what seems to resemble a tree trunk are those words

  3. Who is receiving the message?People who are seeing the ad The ad uses very little text to provide a statement that you either relate with or don’t. Text is plain and simple

  4. How does it appeal to the audience?Through the use of somber colors White text on black background with dull colors is more visually striking Somber Colors such as black and gray make this topic seem sad and meaningful

  5. How does it appeal to the audience?Trees are shadows of what they once were. No plant life Showing the tree as a shadow it makes people think about how they are disappearing

  6. How does it appeal to the audience?Emotion appeal to humans being responsible. Placing this fake tree in a concrete jungle makes a connection between people and the demise of nature The black seems to be a memory on the ground and as soon as the buildings shadow takes over the top of the tree there will be nothing left but a memory The buildings shadow has almost completely overcome the tree

  7. ConclusionThe ad works well • Even at a basic level the ad conveys its message well • Using an emotional appeal to responsibility the ad relates well to people. • After analysis the ad may be simple but makes a bold statement
