  8. Collaboration with China Based on more than 30 years of history… In December, 2009 JICA’s former president Sadako Ogata met with China’s Vice President Li Keqiang. She shared Mr.Li’s views that supporting LDCs is one of the most important challenges in Chinese-Japanese cooperation. 写真

Collaboration with China Senta expert to AFDC hosted seminar (Oct, 2010) Annual joint workshops with China Ex-Im Bank (March, 2012) Economic and commercial sections of Chinese embassies and JICA representative offices have started field level dialogues in Myanmar, Cambodia, Kyrgyz, Iraq, Egypt, Ethiopia, South Sudan, etc. 4th workshop regarding risk management and regional activities.   10. Collaboration with China Triangular cooperation training program under the framework of Japan-China Policy Dialogue on the Mekong Region (May, 2012). Future TrC is under preparation to learn measures against non-communicable diseases with trainees from countries in Africa. The program is expected to be conducted in Japan-China Friendship Hospital, which was constructed by JICA’s grant assistance followed by series of JICA’s technical assistance. To share knowledge and experiences of Japan and China regarding policies on green economy with trainees from ASEAN countries including Myanmar.
