  6. Group Task 1 One of your Erasmus partners, the University of the Sunny Isles, has invited you to attend a week long Erasmus Staff Training week at their new site – Beachside Campus. • What will you need to do before you ask your manager to ask permission to attend? • What will be the benefits of your attending for you and for your university

  7. Group Task 2 Your office has been inundated recently by requests from across Europe for Erasmus training visits. Most ask to come for a week to “see how you do things”. Your office decides that individual visits will be too hard to manage and coordinate to be of value for either your university or the visitor. Your office decides to run Erasmus Training Mobility Week. • Why is the Erasmus Training Week being run? • What do you wish to present? Your office, a faculty, a campus, your university etc. • What will you include? Meetings, presentations, site visits etc. • When do you schedule the week to run? • Who will develop the schedule • How will the week be funded?

  8. Group Task 3 A stated goal of your university’s strategy is to internationalise the workforce, the curriculum and the teaching and learning environment. To help achieve this aim, your university wishes to increase the numbers of staff participating in TM (teaching & training) mobility. • How will staff mobility help internationalise the workforce, the curriculum and the T&L? • How does your university promote staff mobility? • Who is targeted for mobility? Why? When? How?
