Asexual Reproduction. Production of offspring from one parent Involves mitosis. Mitosis – Definition - exact duplication of all the chromosomes (# and information) in the nucleus, then separated into 2 identical sets. - occurs in all cells except sex cells Cancer – abnormal mitosis.
