PURPOSE of SIGNAGE • INCREASES BRAND AWARENESS • Ex: Logo signage on outfield stadium wall during televised game • Provide useful information to audience • Keep audience engaged • Increase revenue through PROMOTIONS • Business strives to EXPOSE LOGO IN THE BEST PLACE to MAXIMIZE REPEAT OR LONG-TERM EXPOSURE

  13. Venue Assignment Identify the VENUE for your event (4.05-4.06) • Must be a Triad area venue • Describe each of the following: • Accessibility – Is the venue easy to get to? Does it provide handicap parking? Shuttle Buses (Public Transportation)? • Trade Area – What kind of local business are around the venue? • Parking - Is it located near or far from the venue? Parking Decks? Pay for parking, how much? • Surrounding – Is it scenic? Parks? Fountains? Tourist Attractions? • Design/Layout – Find a picture of the venue layout. Does it meet the needs of your customers? (Ex. Enough restrooms) • Amenities – Is overcrowding managed? Are there concessions? Is there Wi-Fi? • Personnel – Is the venue staffed well for maintenance, concessions, ushers, ticket gates, parking? • Security – Are there Security Guards provided? Security Cameras? Parking Lots patrolled? • Choose three types of PROMOTIONAL SIGNAGE for your event that you will have at the venue three months prior to your event. • Identify the purpose of having promotional signage prior to your event at the venue of the event • Identify the TYPE of promotional signage • Create a VISUAL of each • Complete in PowerPoint and/or Word and submit to Edmodo by the end of the week
