  4. Cleanliness • Desk areas can contain more bacteria that a toilet seat! Eww! • Disinfect daily if possible; especially if you eat at your desk regularly • Make sure you get your keypad, phone, mouse, and anything that you touch regularly. • Use a placemat

  5. Cleanliness • Wash your hands!

  6. Eating at your desk • The downfall of eating at your desk is you are distracted • Take note of what and how much your are eating • Bring your bagged lunch • Avoid mindless snacking

  8. Monitoring stress • Organization • Soothing colors • Aromatherapy • Taking breaks; 10-15 second stretching break at least every hour

  9. Summary • Keep posture in mind! • Keep your office clean • Be mindful about what you are eating at your desk • Get in plenty of exercise • Monitor stress levels, keep them low!

  10. Activity • Wear a pedometer one day at work. How many steps did you reach? Do you feel like you move around enough at work?
