The Army’s Integrated Acquisition Process Articulating the needs of the Warfighter by producing authoritative requirements to the S&T and Acquisition Communities Basic principles observed and reported Technology concept and/or application formulated Analytical and experimental critical function and/or characteristic proof of concept Warfighting Capability

  3. Warfighter Outcomes • Stand alone statements that articulate capabilities needed for the Army Warfighter by FY 2024 and include: • Clearly articulated description of capability. • Rationale explaining reason for the capability. • Metrics to describe achievement of the capability.

Leonard Wood Institute – LWI Like a watch - Located in the same case as the Acquisition Process, but working on a different layer Industry MSCoE Warfighter Outcomes Academia Works directly with Warfighters’ Representative A leg in both world – hence the dual color ring Returns all knowledge discovered directly to MSCoE and Army Corporate Body By it nature - looks for potential solutions in different locations than the Army
