circles of influence
Circles of Influence
  • People are more effective when their circles of influence are larger than their circles of concern. Worry about what you can influence:
  • God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Unable to influence on one’s own merits, the person who borrows power from her title to force people to do things is using a leadership crutch.
