  11. Housing 2nd 6 wks: • Elements & principles of design, living in a dorm, decorating on a budget, space utilization, career considerations, business location & zoning 3rd 6 wks: • Construction considerations, decorating & furnishing, landscaping, finishing touches, designing a building

Interior Design • This course covers the use of design elements and principles, space planning, backgrounds, furniture styles, occupant needs. • Projects will demonstrate the student’s understanding of color, space and design.   20. FCCLA • Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life such as planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communication; all of these necessary in the home and workplace.

FCCLA Membership: • Any 9th-12th grader currently enrolled in a Family & Consumer Sciences course (teachers: Doolittle, Haines, Herbst) • $18/year dues  DUE by FRIDAY • Benefits include: resume building, service projects that give back to the community, meetings with FOOD, become an officer, field trip opportunity, SENIOR scholarship
