DURBAN KZN CB VISION AND MISSION Vision: To showcase Durban and KwaZulu-Natal as the premier business and tourism destination in Africa Mission: To aggressively identify and bid for small, medium and large ‘meeting, exhibition and incentive gatherings’ with researched potential of significant return on investment (ROI) and to passionately raise the level of awareness of Durban and KwaZulu-Natal’s wide range of business tourism related venues and associated services.

  3. ICCA – Intl Conference and Convention Association database indicating events that SA could potentially host: 18 Events – 5000 pax and above 350 Events – 1000 – 5000 pax 521 Events – 500 – 1000 pax 2604 Events – 50 – 500 pax

  4. Bid initiatives: 12 bid initatives ranging from conferences of 80 delegates to major conferences expected to attract 20 000 pax from 2012 - 2019 Guaranteeing right to host: Rotary 2019 Endourology 2016 World Leisure Congress 2016 World Youth Chess Championship 2014 SETE 2012 – 2014 WASME 2013 Support: DECOREX 2012 IACAPAP 2014 LARASA 2012 Current Initiatives
