  1. What Is a Dental Bridge?

  2. Know about a dental bridge • A bridge is an artificial tooth called a pontic that holds the place once held by a natural tooth. • The artificial tooth is held in place by the abutment teeth on each side. • We put crowns on these teeth and attach the pontic to it. • Most bridges are fixed bridges, which means that once we put them in, you do not take them out. • They become a permanent part of your attractive smile.

  3. What is the procedure to get a dental bridge? • Preparing the Teeth • Inserting the Bridge • Long-Lasting Restoration • Taking Care of the Bridge

  4. • Preparing the Teeth: We start the procedure after numbing the teeth through local anesthetic. We take impression of your teeth through CEREC which is a digital medium. It records the design of teeth and its gap. It saves you from traditional procedure of taking impression on traditional impression tray • Inserting the Bridge: We check the bridge for fitting in this step. After the bridge is ready, we cement it on teeth to make your smile look as natural as possible

  5. • Long lasting restoration: On an average, normal life of a bridge may last from 5 to 15 years which depends on how well you take care of your bridge. • Taking care of bridge: Best way to make a bridge last longer is taking its care regularly. We suggesting flossing your teeth twice a day, having proper diet and having a healthy lifestyle. Try to maintain a healthy diet and regular examinations to your dentist

  6. Schedule a Consultation • Come in for a visit to our West Metro Dental office to find out if a bridge is right for you. We assess your case and make recommendations based on your individual situation. Once we decide how to proceed, we can do the restoration and give you back your best smile!
