  2. Outline • Goal • Context • A process to facilitate Agricultural Innovation System (AIS) • Where we are heading to • Near future • Expected outputs of the project

  3. Goal • To gather information and facilitate its flow for public-private partnership in Horticulture and Viticulture (HV) farming.

  4. Context • An Action Plan to be prepared for the implementation of the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education (AREE) project. • Reform of the agricultural research component of this project to provide technical assistance, training and investments to pilot reforms in HV farming.

  5. A process to facilitate AIS • Describe and analyze the AIS for HV farming. • Establish an Information Exchange Network (IEN) to facilitate the AIS.

  6. Where we are heading to • Agricultural research should be able to respond to demands from multiple organizations in the AIS for HV.

  7. Near Future • Form a team to prepare a joint project proposal for funding.

  8. Expected Outputs of the Project • Improved information on the aspects of the AIS for HV farming • Top priority problems of HV farming • New or improved linkages of agents to facilitate the Information, Knowledge, Skills, and Resource (IKSR) flow for the development of solutions to the problems • An operative IEN
