  2. Video 1: Introduction to Frisbee Golf • Setting: Frisbee Golf Course in Urbana, IL • Scene 1: History of Frisbee Golf (45sec) • Impossible to know when the first game was played. First known instance: Vancouver 1932 with Tin Lids. • Scene 2: Overview of Equipment and Gameplay (1:15min) • Golf Discs: Driver Disc, Fairway Disc, Approach Disc, Putting Disc. • Chain Net serves as the hole • Scene 3: Physics of Frisbee Flight (2min) • Bernoulli’s Principle • To be watched before the start of the Frisbee Golf Unit and throwing and catching lesson

Video 2: Out on the Course Part 1 • Setting: Frisbee Golf Course in Urbana, IL. • Scene 1: Intro/Tee Box/Etiquette (2min) • Where to tee off • 4 players per group • One person on the tee box at a time • Other Disc Golf etiquette techniques • Scene 2: The Drive (2min) • The throws (normal, hammer throw) • Aim • Manipulating the Disc • Curving the disc • To be watched prior to long distance throwing lesson

Video 3: Out on the Course Part 2 • Setting: Frisbee Golf Course in Urbana, IL • Scene 1: Fairway Approach (1:15min) • May not take any steps except for the one during throw • Scene 2: Putting (1:45min) • Accuracy • Squaring to target • Shorter arm swing • Scene 3: Scoring (1:00min) • What is a Par, Birdie, Eagle, Bogey • To be watched prior to throwing for shorter distances and accuracy lesson and going out to the Disc Golf Course

  5. Spreadsheet • Assessment will look at throwing and catching, distance, and accuracy statistics as well as a written quiz on the background and rules of Frisbee Golf.
