Our Mission • Mission Statement • It is our purpose of the Mahopac Central School District to insure that every student in our schools will acquire the skills, knowledge, attitudes and interpersonal skills that will permit him or her to operate effectively in the broader community and lead a successful productive life in a changing world. • Redistricting is a study of the demographics, facilities and educational needs to make sure we are using our resources in the most effective way to achieve our mission.

  28. Preliminary Research September 2003- February 2004 • 2003 Data Collection Analysis complete • Updated 2003 Enrollment Projections • District Architect – Anderson, LaRocca, Anderson, Haynes make site visits to each building to determine building capacity. • Update All Building Schematics

Preliminary Research September 2003- February 2004 • Preliminary redistricting committee met to study various building configurations. • This group developed a listing of school districts that have various configurations. • This listing will be presented to the Redistricting Committee to study.

Preliminary Research September 2003- February 2004 • Technology and Transportation Departments purchased redistricting software. • Trans-finder was updated with the latest demographics. • This new program in conjunction with the Transportation Department expertise will prepare redistricting models for the community.
