  3. History • Cinco de Mayo is celebrated because the Mexican army defeated the French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.

  4. Food -Golden Margarita Glaze -Margaritas are a big part of the Cinco De Mayo celebration.

  5. These performers performed at the White House on Cinco de Mayo. Parades & dancing occur in the Cinco de Mayo celebration.

  6. Clothing The clothing that is worn on Cinco de Mayo are dresses or costumes. They wear bright colors & some wear red, green, & white in honor of there flag.
