  4. Mountains • High elevation, High Relief • Mountaneous regions are sometimes called highlands.

  5. Plateau • Medium to high elevation, high to low relief • Flat Top • Steep or gentle cliffs

  6. Deeply eroded plateau – flat top, steep valley

  7. Grand Canyon plateau – rim elevation is 4000 - 7000 ft.
