  1. Luke 23:32-43 Pg. 748 32Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with Him to be executed. 33When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified Him, along with the criminals—one on His right, the other on His left.

  2. Luke 23:32-43 Pg. 748 34Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up His clothes by casting lots.

  3. Luke 23:32-43 Pg. 748 35The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at Him. They said, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ of God, the Chosen One."

  10. The Nature Of Man We believe all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin. Salvation and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:12-21)

  11. The Nature Of Salvation We believe that on the cross Jesus Christ became sin, providing salvation for all mankind. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. (Psalm 103:2-3; Romans 10:8-10; Ephesians 2:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

  24. TRUE forgiveness is powered by GOD.

  25. True TOTAL forgiveness is something that only God can do.

  26. FORGIVENESS is an act whereby God takes away the barriers which separate us from God's presence.

  27. Forgiveness opens the door to a new fellowship with God - a new relationship.

  28. When God forgives, God takes us back into his fellowship and walks with us daily as if we had never sinned.

  37. How they viewed the man in the middle. • How each seized the moment. • How they will spend eternity.

  38. Daily living as a Christian will interrupt our private worldly goals and pleasures.

  39. First, he is not afraid to believe in Christ without any physical evidence.

  40. Second thing about this changed thief: he feared God.

  41. Third, the changed thief admitted that he had done wrong.

  42. Fourth, not only did he admit to wrong and guilt, he accepted his punishment as deserved.

  43. Fifth, the thief acknowledged Jesus' righteousness

  44. Sixth, the thief goes a step further and acknowledges that indeed, Jesus is a King.

  45. Seventh, he pleads for help. "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."
