  7. K&E - Machine Control Summary K&E Excavating was incorporated in 1998. In 2004 we made our initial purchase of machine controlled technology. K&E currently maintains and operates eleven pieces of heavy equipment that utilize this method of construction. We have a full time staff dedicated to keeping all equipment upgraded and running at peak capacity. Approximately 75% of our work is classified as heavy highway construction and involves the use of this equipment.
