  3. Quote • Follow the claim with a quote (can be a specific example for a movie or personal essay). • Make sure your quote helps you back up your claim ( don’t just parachute them in because you have to use them)

  4. Comment • The comment explains how the quote proves your claim.

  5. So What? • CQC creates better fluency • Helps you use quotes and examples effectively • Makes your essays more specific and focused.
