  4. Element 1 - (Cont.) • HA (Hybrid Mixed Mode) A certain percentage of the course material is delivered via electronic means using a combination of asynchronous and synchronous means and a certain percentage of the course is conducted face to face • WE (Web Enhanced) - 100% face to face instruction utilizing some form of technology for course material distribution • Traditional - 100% face to face instruction

  5. Element 1 - Comments • The “H” in hybrid indicates some class seat time is required so there is no need to add any designation into the second element • When coding in “traditional” for element one, dta entry personnel would not have a need to code anything for element

Transmission is one-way, although it could be interactive via phone or web/email access. • C Conferencing, Compressed Video, Audio, ITV - Two-way, audio and video, synchronous, interactive between two or more locations. • M Mobile Devices – Can include PDAs, MP3 players, digital video players, handheld gaming units or other “personal” or mobile devices. • W Web-based or Internet-based Courses - Can include Web-TV, video streaming on the computer, or any other technology heretofore not yet thought of. • N No technology employed
