PROJECT OVERVIEW • Wastewater Collection System from Radium Springs to the Las Cruces city limits (85 square miles/121 miles of collection lines) • 2.0 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant • Reclamation/Reuse • 2.0 MGD Surface Water Treatment Plant • Supply Treated Surface Water to Domestic Water Providers

  4. PROJECT OBJECTIVES • Groundwater Protection • Quantity (Groundwater, Surface Water) • Quality (Salinity, Septic Contamination) • Extend Water Service to Drought-Affected Residents • Conjunctive Water Management • Surface Water • Groundwater

  5. PROJECT DEMOGRAPHICS • Total Population of Service Area: 18,300+ • Total Households in Service Area: 6,000 • Total Minority Population: 55% • Service Area Contains 8 Designated Colonias
