  17. Behavior Incentives • NO MISBEHAVIOR /day = 5 pts • These points will be added to classwork SCORE

  18. UNACCEPTABLE • Fighting • DISRESPECT • Cutting classes • Profanity , sexual harassment, cheating stealing, defacing or destroying school property in any way , graffiti • Vandalism of any kind • Eating , drinking, chewing gum in classroom and hallways

  19. UNACCEPTABLE Littering the room and campus Any electronic/ technology and any item determined to be a nuisance item, distracting teaching and learning Weapons of any kind, real or toy replicas Drugs, alcohol, tobacco or drug paraphernalia

  20. Classroom Rules Explain and demonstrate each rule. • Respect everyone inside and outside the classroom. 2. 100% attention is expected during directed teaching.

  21. Ask permission at all times. 4. Full cooperation is a must in doing group activities.

  22. Be punctual in everything. 6. Cleanliness, neatness and orderliness should be observed in doing science work.

  27. 14. Signed completed work should be given to the Substitute Teacher during my absence. The substitute teacher’s signature on your assignment means excellent behavior – 100 points) No signature = no credit 15.Reflection will be done before leaving the class.

  28. 15 Minute Rule • NO Restroom Breaks during 1st and last 15 minutes of the class . ( one person at a time ) • Students are never to be out of the class without a pass. • No Restroom breaks right after lunch and nutrition time

Rubric for Science Projects • Log Book – 100 pts or 5 pts /day (Date, Complete data, paragraphs, computations) • Technical Paper -100 pts( Contents 60pts, Format 20pts,Creativity 20pts) • Display Board -100pts(Contents 40pts, Format 20pts, Creativity 20pts, Neatness 20pts) • Model- 100pts ( Contents 40pts ,Originality and Creativity 30pts, Neatness 30pts)

  34. 8 STEP ROUTINE • Go to your SEAT QUIETLY and QUICKLY. • Get your NOTEBOOK – Copy the following : • Heading • Parents ‘ Signature ; Extra Credit • Standards -(NEW) • FLT - (NEW) • Agenda • Notes 3. Copy the homework • Please do the Warm Up + Homework Submission • Notes 6. Classwork 7. Quiz 8. Reflection

Procedures • ASSIGNMENTS – Group 1 Leader will get the green bin pass it around from Group 1 to ALL , then Group 6 leader will place it back to the shelf. • HANDOUTS- Group 3 Leader will pass the handouts to all leaders. Leaders will give to their group. • MATERIALS- Group 5 Leader will give the bucket of materials for each group resource person. Resource person will be responsible to the return of borrowed materials.

  36. Procedures 4. MAKE UP Assignments- Please put your these make up assignments in its designated bin. Deductions will be given for made up assignments 5. BOOKS/ Workbooks - Please bring your TEXTBOOK to class.(2points by leaders) 6. RESTROOM – Ask permission only on the last 15 minutes of the class. 7. HALLWAY PASS- Use the hallway pass to go to the bathroom and important business.

  37. 8. SUBSTITUTE TEACHER GRADE- all assignments required during my absence, should be completed and submitted to the SUBSTITUTE Teacher. The assignment will be signed by the Substitute Teacher and graded with FULL Credit and Additional of 10 points if you have an EXCELLENT BEHAVIOR the whole entire period. • EXCELLENT BEHAVIOR Signature of APPROVAL on the Assignment = Clean Area+ Remain Seated+ Quietly working +Respectful + Obedient

  38. 9.REFLECTION – EXIT TICKET -10pts What did I learn today ? What are my difficulties in this lesson ? Any Complaints ?

  39. 10. DISMISSAL – By groups Clean Up and Reflection Ticket are required before leaving the class. Group Random Notebook check will be done before leaving. ( Standards, Objectives, Agenda, Homework, Notes, Classwork, Quiz, Test ) 11. CLEAN UP – Return all borrowed materials to your Resource Person. Return the bin on the shelf. Organize your seat. Pick up bits of paper /trash from the floor and throw them in the trash can.
