Making numbers • Now that you know all the numbers 1 through 20 and then the multiples of ten, you can create any number by combining them, just like in English. • For example: • To say 35, you say treinta(30) y(and) cinco(5) • To say 99, you say noventa(90) y nueve(9) • To say 127, you say ciento(100) veinte(20) y siete(7)

Colores • Remember, colors are used as adjectives, so you must make them agree in gender and number. • Fore example: • To say, the black cats = Los gatos negros. • To say, the red apple = La manzana roja. • To say, the purple flowers = Las flores moradas. • To say, the white dog = El perro blanco.
