Non consent agenda • Current DE Approval Process • Non-consent • Major revision not required • Board Viewing • Do we want a policy change on a future agenda? • Update to CurricUNET • On the Basic Course information screen under the field Distance Education, next or below the Yes/No radial button can we add additional text (radial button) to say “Existing approval for DE” or “New DE request”. Substantive change • Reminders • More than 50% requires sub change • Sub change cannot be done on ACCJC Sanction • 50% includes GE classes in degree • Many of our degrees are at that 50% • Do we want to look at our own degrees in each dept.? (This is a start for ACCJC) • Update • A look at degrees in catalog: minimum of 48% of degrees would need sub change • Campus DE Committee working on proposal to address sub change and DE needs
