These photos are being provided to further illustrate the technical report: Stoffle, Richard W., Michael Evans, Nieves Zedeno, Brent Stoffle, and Cindy Kessel 1994 American Indians and Fajada Butte. Prepared for the National Park Service, Chaco Culture National Park. Tucson: Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology, University of Arizona.

  3. Chaco • This park wanted to add Indian voices to the interpretative center. • So in consultation with the culturally affiliated tribes two more intro explanations were provided – one from a Navajo and one from a Pueblo perspective. • Perhaps a good beginning, but neither Navajo nor Pueblo people are satisfied that the complexity of their relationships with Chaco is represented. • Also the scientists of the NPS discounted both Indian voice displays.
