Goals The goals of this project are: • To reduce the number of days per week that garbage collection trucks are travelling through EF • One pickup per week for the entire community - Monday morning • Road preservation - fewer trucks and smaller trucks • Safer roads; quieter community • Lower cost - attempt to obtain large volume “group” pricing

  3. Selection Criteria • Cost of Pickup Service • Volume of trash per week included in price • No Activation or Cancellation fees • No other “misc” fees (e.g. Fuel, Environmental, etc.) • Vendor understands seasonal nature of EF • Offer Dumpster rentals for additional charge • Smaller truck size • NOTE: A Recycling Program was not considered. Not offered by any local trash collection companies.

The Preferred Vendor Based on the criteria of best value (i.e. lowest cost per bag, no misc. fees) and smallest truck size, the following vendor has been selected: Sweetheimer Trash Removal 4950 N. 850 W-92 Pierceton, IN 46592 (574) 594-5142 • Locally owned, family operated • Have assisted EFPOA with Large Item Trash Pickup for years • Yard waste & leaf pickup is available for an extra charge.

  10. Other Information Each Epworth Forest Property Owner: • will need to contact Sweetheimer Trash Removal directly to set up this service. • will be directly billed by, and directly make payments to, Sweetheimer Trash Removal.
