Amen June 19-21 – Designer Furniture Sale, 9 AM to 6 PM, Windsor Chase Community, West of Kernan Blvd, 2434 Misty Water Dr East June 26 - 29 - Kiwanis International Convention, Orlando, Fl Aug 21-24 - Fl District Convention, Hyatt Regency Jax Riverfront BREAKFAST MEETINGS Beginning in July, Our club will conduct a 3 month experiment with once a month Breakfast meetings.When: Breakfast meetings will be the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 AM. If you want to get there at 7:00, coffee will be available.   Where: Selva Marina Club. The great Selva staff will prepare a full breakfast buffet.   Format: Regular scheduled events with speakers, 50/50 and humor. We plan to be out the door by 8:30. Please note: On breakfast meeting days, there will be no lunch meeting.  Many of us know someone who likes Kiwanis, but cannot make lunch meetings. Jay Ambler From: “Invocations for Kiwanis Occasions” by James J. Muench STATE WIDE MEMBERSHIP PLAN “4 = 1” Mike Matuszak Policy Technology Institute Thank you Mike for your interesting presentation. The Florida District of Kiwanis, in an effort to increase membership state wide, has initiated a plan called "Four Equals One" (4=1).  This is a plan where four members join together to recruit one new member.  Each club has been asked to join in this plan.  Our club will be participating and following is a listing of the groups of four: Jay Ambler John Bates Doris Barnes Sevena Baum Dan Kuchta James Lee Bill MacLeod Ralph Marcello   The 4=1 plan has the potential to increase our membership, and we hope that each group will make an effort to recruit at least one new member in the coming months.  We thank you for your participation, and if you have any questions or suggestions, please contact a member of the Membership Committee; John Bates, Carl Krouch, Neil Powell and Dick Brand or the Club Secretary, Jay Ambler.
