  8. Dispatch - General Pages are on a single drop down menu from the left Fields Drop Down or pop out You can advance pages with the Arrow Button in the corner KMM 1/2012

  9. Dispatch - Vehicle Mileage has it’s own page and allows for decimal point entry now KMM 1/2012

  10. Dispatch - Crew Crew roles are expanded to prevent confusion with the “D” “P” “S” “T” codes You can use “Other” for someone essential to patient care KMM 1/2012

  11. Dispatch – Referring / Receiving Where you picked them up, and where you went. Nothing has changed. Use the “Location” for the frequent places we go. KMM 1/2012

  12. Patient Information - Patient You must ADD/EDIT to create a patient. Add patient Name and DOB or Age as soon as possible. This will change pick lists further down the chart program. KMM 1/2012

  13. Patient Information This is a popup window. Add as much info as you can. The “Transfer” button makes things easy. Remember to hit SAVE and not “X” KMM 1/2012

  16. Patient - HX/Med/Allg Click on one of the Add/Edit button, or use the NONE Add/Edit generates a popup box KMM 1/2012

  17. Patient – HX/MED/Allg Improvement You can “Type Ahead” and get medications matching the letters you are typing. Select and Add or Double click the medication to move it to the list. Same goes for MedHX and Allergies KMM 1/2012

Chief Complaint/SC/HPI • CHIEF COMPLAINT • This is a very SHORT description of what is wrong. • SECONDARY COMPLAINT • This is if there are second, or underlying conditions • HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS • This is what lead up to the call for assistance today – leave it at ‘why they got sick’ KMM 1/2012

  21. CC – Cardiac Arrest CPR info if you have it. Get as much as you can, even if you have to download info and add it later KMM 1/2012

  23. CC – Injury Details “Trauma” (Minor or Major) requires details about their injury and incident KMM 1/2012

  24. CC - Scene Information about the scene goes in here. IMPORTANT – if you had an intercept medic from another agency on scene, it goes in the OTHER EMS box KMM 1/2012

  25. CC - Factors Information that delayed your response, or access to a patient or scene get’s documented here. This included getting “Staged” for police – you can reflect that in the “AT PATIENT” box in the times KMM 1/2012

  26. CC – Patient Movement Document how the patient got to the ambulance How they were transported And how they made it into the ER KMM 1/2012

  27. CC - Belongings Paperwork, Bag of Medications, Walker, etc etc etc KMM 1/2012

  28. CC - Exposure In addition to department paperwork, it is a good practice to document any exposures on the PCR – this way it’s a document related to the patient. KMM 1/2012

  29. Neuro/Airway Simple Box’s – “ON MY ARRIVAL” this is what I observed – not how they became enroute to hospital. This is an INITIAL finding. KMM 1/2012

  32. Pupils / Motor Sensory On my arrival…. This is how I observed them….. That is why these pages are called “Initial Findings” KMM 1/2012

  33. Immobilization YES or NO . . ON MY ARRIVAL the patient was ALREADY Immobilized? If the first responders had patient packaged BEFORE you had contact, then YES the patient was. Otherwise, usually NO KMM 1/2012

  34. Immobilization IF YES – the it was Prior to your arrival – That is what PTA means Who was it done by? KMM 1/2012

  35. Airway On my arrival…. Patient’s Airway was ______ (BEFORE I got there) KMM 1/2012

  36. Resp / Cardio When I got there, patient was . . . . NOTE, the system defaults with “COMMENTS” already populated. Change these if this is not the fact. Was the patient on Oxygen when YOU got there? Document it here. KMM 1/2012

  41. Activity Log This is a chronological Log of everything you do for the patient It can be accessed by the NEW button Or ANYTIME in charts by the Vitals / Activity Button KMM 1/2012

  42. Vitals Vitals This is a pop up window Make sure you hit SAVE KMM 1/2012

  43. Vitals - Procedures Almost EVERYTHING you can do (as an EMT) for the patient, is a procedure and is found here. Click on the correct Category KMM 1/2012

  44. Vitals - Procedures Providing OXYGEN is a procedure on a patient, and is found under PROCEDURES>>AIRWAY LOG KMM 1/2012

  45. Vitals - Procedures BACKBOARDING is a procedure, and is documented here – “Immobilization LOG” Get the Idea of Procedures Yet ??? It’s not an HPI !!! KMM 1/2012

  46. Signatures Capturing Signatures has not changed, just where you find them has For billing, use the “NON-PDF SIGNATURE” tab KMM 1/2012

  47. PDF Form The BACKUS Pre Stroke Screening form is available, you can write on it and save it as an attachment to the PCR KMM 1/2012

  48. Upload Charts There is an UPLOAD CHARTS button that is accessible from inside the PCR – this is a TEMPORARY upload. HINT: DO NOT USE THIS BUTTON (No we cant turn it off) KMM 1/2012

  49. Back to Main Menu As Mentioned, this was changed to work as windows. To get to the Main Screen, click on the “X” in the corner. As long as you have tabbed or arrowed thru fields, you PCR will be saved (On the tablet still) KMM 1/2012
