  2. What is the CCF? • The CCF is part of the national youth movement in the United Kingdom and is administered by the Ministry of Defence.  However, the CCF is not part of the Armed Forces and its members are not liable for service or compulsory training in the Armed Forces. • The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is a tri-Service military cadet organisation based in schools and colleges throughout the UK. Although it is administered and funded by the Services it is a part of the national youth movement. • The CCF at St Dunstan’s College offers two of the three services, these are: Royal Navy Army

  3. What can the CCF offer you? • The CCF is a youth organisation based around the principles of the armed services, with the aim of the CCF being laid out in the CCF Charter. The CCF at St Dunstan’s College aims to build a disciplined organisation within the school, in which the cadets can develop their leadership and promote the qualities of responsibility, self-reliance, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance. The CCF also gives the cadets the chance to travel and participate in activities that they may not otherwise have the option to do. The CCF also allows the cadet the chance to work as part of a team outside of the sporting arena.
