Academic PolicyFunction Policy Review Charge from State Regents (June 23, 2011) Allow the blanket moratorium to end on June 30, 2011 Charge the staff with the following revisions to Function Policy (3.2) Clarification of Regional University function for associate degrees – Demand; Cost coverage; Outside capacity of community college in SDA; Joint/consortial approaches not feasible Develop function statements for the two OSU technical branches As an alternative to limited baccalaureate degrees for community colleges or expansion of doctoral degrees for regional universities, work to define joint degrees options and evaluate any policy barriers to such.
