Fact #1 • In 1876 William Lincoln patented the “Wheel Of Life” or the “Zoopraxiscope”. • The Zoopraxiscope takes a series of still pictures and runs them together very fast in the little circular machine. It is much like a flip book, you have a bunch of pictures, one on each page and when you flip the book pages it looks like you are watching a movie. • http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/blmotionpictures.htm

  3. Fact #2 • In 1878 Eadweard Muybridgecreated one of the first movies. He set up a series of cameras and took multiple pictures of a horse running by.
