  2. ~1550~ Camera Obsura, was the first pinhole camera invented by Alhazen.

  3. ~1839~ The French Academy in science invented the Daguerreotype Camera, in 1839.

  4. ~1840~ The first movie made is the horse in motion in 1878.

  5. ~1859~ The camera in 1859 was Panoramic camera patented by Thomas Sutton.

  6. ~1861~ Stereoscope Viewer was invented by Oliver Wendell Holmes.

  7. ~1888~ George Eastman invented the Kodak Roll-Camera in 1888.

  8. ~1900~ In 1900,the Raisecamer was invented. It was a travel camera and was light, and was easy to carry because it would fold to travel.

  9. ~The first cartoon made in color in 1929~ The first color cartoons were called Silly Symphony’s by Walt Disney, from 1929 to 1939.

  10. ~1939~ The first movie made in color was The Wizard of Oz, the color was done in Technicolor.

  11. ~1940~ In 1940 the first colored television was invented. The research was led by Peter Goldmark and the designs were made by John Logie Baird.

  12. ~Magnetic Tape~ The magnetic tape was used for the first time in 1951. It was by Valdamar Poulsen and Fritz Pfleumer.

  13. ~1951~ On September 4, 1951 President Truman made the first transcontinental television broadcast.

  14. ~Videocassette Recorder ~ The first videocassette recorder (vcr) came out in 1975. It was released by Sony. The very first one was made in 1956 and was the size of a piano.

  15. ~Video Home System~ The video home system (vhs) was invented in 1976 by the Japanese company Jvc. The Vhs was used to record thing to play on the Vcr.

  16. ~The Dvd player~ The player was invented in 1996 by a Japanese company and the U.S.A released it in 1997.

  17. ~Digital Video Disk~ The digital video disk (dvd) was invented in 1995. It was invented by Sony and it was a collaboration with Phillips Company.

  18. ~The Blu-ray player~ The Blu-ray player was invented by Sony in 2000. it wasn’t released till 2002.

  19. ~The Blu-ray disk~ The Blu-ray disk was invented around the same time as the play and wasn’t invented till 2002.
