  3. Down Selection Process, with a twist 11. If the down-selection procedure is not complete within 6 attempts of down-selection (steps 1 through 8), the TG shall advise the WG of its inability to arrive at a baseline draft and shall request that the WG disband the task group . If the WG chooses not to disband TG4a and requests TG4a to continue its effort to generate a draft standard, TG4a shall start anew the whole process of generating a draft standard with a call for proposals, etc. Jason Ellis, Staccato Communications
