Discipline Plan • Classroom Expectations • Be Kind. • Be Responsible. • I keep it simple. • When these two expectations are maintained, great learning experiences always occur. • If you make a poor choice… • You will receive a verbal warning or nonverbal cue. • You will work alone for 10 minutes. • You will stay after class for 1 or 2 minutes to discuss & reinforce expectations. • You and I will contact your parents. • You will stay after school for a detention. • *Severe Clause: • I reserve the right to send a student directly to the principal in the event of severe misbehavior. • Students start fresh every day! • Positive behavior could earn you… • a “shout out” from me • a special recognition note to you • a special recognition note or phone call home • Intrinsic motivation to be the best you know you can be! • STUDENTS: I have read this classroom discipline plan and understand it.
