The boxes that appear outside the logo are known as “resize handles.” • Use these to resize the object. • If you hold down the shift key before using the resize handles, you will maintain the proportions of the object you wish to resize.   6. Technologically Up-to-Date • Information Kiosk at the entrance with touch screen guide to the library • Study tables are equipped with electrical power for lap-top or notebook computers and network connection to the Internet.

Study Lounge • Located by the entrance to the Library, the lounge is a convenient place for patrons to take a quick break from library research, classes, and other activities • Pre-formatted floppy diskettes are available from one of the vending machines • The Library’s online catalog can be searched through the computer terminals in the lounge

  9. Study Areas • Study areas are available on each floor of the Library

  10. Computer Workstations • Computer workstations are available on each floor for Internet access and the utilization of many electronic research databases. • Printer paper can be purchased at the Circulation Desk and floppy diskettes are available from a vending machine in the Study Lounge.

  11. Group Study RoomsThird Floor • Group Study Rooms are located on the Third Floor for group projects, discussions, and studies. • Keys are available at the Circulation Desk on the First Floor

  13. Reference DepartmentFirst Floor • Library reference assistance is provided in person, by phone, or via e-mail • A non-circulating reference collection, in paper and electronic format, covers all major subjects • Interlibrary loan requests are made at the Reference Desk

  14. J.V. Machuga Technology Center First Floor • Supported by a grant from the John Victor Machuga Foundation, the center is used for library instruction and other presentations.
