  4. HWK四コマ漫画 1. Find out the meaning of the following terms to learn out about the structure of “yon koma manga” （four cell/panel manga) 起　き (as in 起きる／おきる） 承　しょう　(as in 承る／うけたまわる） 転　　てん　(as in 転がる／ころがる） 結　けつ　(as in 結ぶ／むすぶ） (wikipediaで「yon koma manga」をしらべても良いです。）

  5. 2. Browse through a few of the 四コマ漫画on this site: http://memoryocean.la.coocan.jp/shounen-k/ Choose one of the 漫画to translate. Explain in English how each panel reflects the 起承転結（きしょうてんけつ）rule for the genre.

  6. 3. View the winning 四コマ漫画submitted to the Sawanotsuru(brand of sake) annual 四コマ漫画contest. The manga all have to have follow the structure for yonkoma manga and must have something to do with sake. http://www.sawanotsuru.co.jp/manga/4_koma.htm Break the comic down into its 起承転結parts and tell what is happening in each panel. Vocab/kanji help: 野外／やがい、必ず／かならず、一回／いっかい
