  3. *A rare baby addax wasborn at Kaohsiung’s Shoushan zoo in Februry. The addax is a rare desert antelope that lives in the several isolated regions in the Sahara. It is a baby addax that was born just last month at the zoo. *It was born on Lunar New year’s day at 3:00am. The baby addax can now walk steadily and graze alongside its mother. It is still a little anxious around humans. Mo-li, the kid’s mom was transferred from the Taipei zoo last year and mated with a male addax at Shoushan zoo. Worried that the buck may not be used to the presence of the kid, zoo authorities are temporarily keeping them separated, leaving the doe to care for the kid.   9. Conclusion: What is genre? A genre is a text-type whose features have become conventionalized over time. The same kind of genre has the same organization, degree of formality and grammatical features. Today my group members have mentioned is the genre of Internet News bulletin. What is genre analysis approach? A genre analysis approach not only respects the integrity the whole text but regards the features of a text as being directly influenced by its communicative function and its context of use.

  10. For example, the same “text” which uses for reporting or for conversation would has different genre. It is important to relate the generic features (such as present tenses, past simple and modality) to the function of each paragraph relates to the overall function of the text.
