PCLS Syntax Changes • From –07 to –08: • Change inheritance for some classes. • Use of OIDs for Syntax • “name” information now in description field. • policyKeywords, policyGroupName, policyRuleName, policyConditionName, policyActionName, policyInstanceName, and policyRepositoryName changed from IA5 Strings to Directory Strings

  2. PCLS Editorial Change • removal of reference to expired draft for dereferencing DN pointers

  3. Matching Rule & What Next • In –08, policyKeywords, policyGroupName, policyRuleName, policyConditionName, policyActionName, policyInstanceName, and policyRepositoryName use caseIgnoreMatch for equality match • Not clear what caseIgnoreMatch means with respect to a UTF-8 string. • Recycle at –09 with new security section and new auxiliary classes.
