  1. The VEX factor By Steph Rus

  2. Familiar The dog owners usually have this problem… Approximately there are 5.2 million dog owning households in the UK which is 21% of households, owning 6.8 million dogs and unfortunately 6-8 million dogs and cats go to animal shelter every year.

  3. Frequent Well this happened to me in may last year when I brought my dog. Before I got my dog I thought it was going to be like a toy, that it would listen to me. But I was wrong so my mum had to help me take care of my dog until I got used to it and be able to do it by myself.

  4. Specific Dog owners don’t know what do to with their dog. They might do things wrong ( giving the dog the wrong food, washing the dog with the wrong shampoo etc…) Because they don’t know what to do with him abandon him at an animal shelter.

  5. Irritant Well some people might want to train their dog and don’t know how to do it, and if you don’t know how to do it the dog won’t listen to you. You want to give it a bath but it doesn't like water. You need to know how to calm him down or otherwise he would fight you or probably bite you. You want to teach him to sleep outside. If you don’t know what to do and how to do it, he will cry and scream all night.

  6. Expensive If you don’t know what do with your dog then you might get bored of trying and send it to an animal shelter which is expensive because you buy the dog with… let’s say £200 and you give it away for free.

  7. Unpredictable You never know how a dog will react to things. Some dogs can be afraid of water and some love it or some love to stay in the garden by themselves when others don’t like staying by themselves. It deepens on the type of dog you have.
