  3. Skill Drill 2-11Daily SCBA Inspection (1 of 5) 1. Check the backpack and harness straps. 2. Check the air pressure. Turn on the air-cylinder valve and check the gauge pressure.

  4. Skill Drill 2-11Daily SCBA Inspection (2 of 5) 3. Check the condition of all hoses while pressurized. 4. Activate the integrated PASS device, if present.

  5. Skill Drill 2-11Daily SCBA Inspection (3 of 5) 5. Check the face piece. 6. Connect the regulator to the face piece and take test breaths.

  6. Skill Drill 2-11Daily SCBA Inspection (4 of 5) 7. Close the cylinder valve and open the purge valve to bleed the pressure. 8. Check the function and activation pressure of the low-air alarm. Close the bypass valve.

  7. Skill Drill 2-11Daily SCBA Inspection (5 of 5) • Complete all necessary paperwork.
