  16. Partnerships with other Granters in Oxford United Way of Oxford – Executive Director Ex-Officio Member of the Board of OCF to ensure cooperation and help identify funding needs and gaps. United Way tend to support operating dollars and fund raises annually to give away the following year. OCF tends to support small Capital and/or pilot projects and seeks support from people willing to endow funds – Capital remains in perpetuity – interest granted, as available, to support causes

  17. REQUESTS FROM COUNCIL 1. To assist Oxford Community Foundation to increase its public profile by including articles about the Foundation and the Grant process in Tillsonburg’s information packages and newsletters. .

  18. Mayor’s Roast • On November 18, 2011 the Oxford Community Foundation is hosting the Mayor’s Roast – a dinner and opportunity for an evening of good humour. We are very pleased that Mayor Pat Sobeskihas agreed to be “Roasted” • We ask Council to support this fund raising event by buying and supporting the sale of tickets.
