Ohio State, Cincinnati, Miami Univ.)

  11. CAMPUS VISITS & COLLEGE FAIRS • Schedule campus visits for Spring & Summer • Junior Days • Group Visits • Personal Visits • Contact the admissions office to schedule your campus visit • Attend spring and summer College Fairs • See guidance website and posters for future fairs

  12. COLLEGE: Public vs. Private • Do not rule out schools because you believe they will be too expensive. • Many times, after you receive scholarships and grants, public and private schools end up with a very similar cost.

  14. #4 APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES • Many opportunities to learn a trade • jfs.ohio.gov/apprenticeship/ • Can make a good income

  15. #5 NCAA/NAIA • Clearinghouses determine athletic eligibility at the college level. • If you plan to participate in a sport, that is an NCAA or NAIA school, this online application is a requirement. • Apply after your senior year schedule is set. • There is a fee to process your application.
