  1. Let us read together: Colossians 3:18 18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

  2. Let us read together: Ephesians 5:22-23 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

  3. Let us read together: What does it mean to submit? Ephesians 5:24, 33 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 33 Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

  4. To Arrange Under the Authority 1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Romans 13:1

  5. To Respect the Authority 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? Hebrews 12:9

  6. To Respect the Authority 5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5

  7. To Obey the Authority 17 Then the seventy returned with joy saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject in Your name.” Luke 17:10 9 Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back. Titus 2:9
