  3. Za patrona mamy jednego z najsławniejszych Polaków na całym świecie Mikołaja Kopernika. Our patron is Nicolaus Copernicus.

  5. Mikołaj Kopernik(ur. 19 lutego 1473 w Toruniu, zm. 24 maja 1543 we Fromborku) – polski astronom, autor dzieła O obrotach sfer niebieskich iteorii heliocentrycznej. Nicolaus Copernicus (19 February 1473 – 24 May 1543) -was  polishastronomerwho formulated a heliocentricmodel of the universe which placed the Sun, rather than the Earth, at the center. The publication of Copernicus' book, De revolutionibusorbiumcoelestium.

  7. Do naszej szkoły uczęszcza ponad tysiąc uczniów, a pracuje w niej około 100 nauczycieli. In our school learnoverthousandpupils andabout 100 teachers works in it.

  11. W 1920 powstała pierwsza 7-klasowa Publiczna Szkoła Powszechna nr 1 w drewnianym budynku na terenie koszar.  In 1920 was created the first 7-class Public Primary School number1 in a wooden building.

  12. Została zniszczona w czasie wojny. It was destroyed during the war.

  13. Po wojnie zorganizowano nową szkołę na terenie obecnej dzielnicy Legionowa przez Piotra Chruściela. Później nadano jej nazwę Szkoły Podstawowej Nr 1 w Legionowie. After the war Piotr Chruściel organised a new school in the current district of Legionowo.Latertheschoolwas givenhernameof the Primary School number1 in Legionowo.

  14. W 31 XII 1956 r. uroczyście przekazano do użytku nowy budynek, który funkcjonuje do dziś. On 31 XII 1956thenewbuilding was officialyopened and itfunctionsup to thisday.

  15. 13 października 1973 r. odbyła się uroczystość nadania imienia szkole, przekazania sztandaru oraz odsłonięcia tablicy pamiątkowej patrona - Mikołaja Kopernika. On 13 October 1973 there was a ceremonyschool by thename of Nicolaus Copernicus.

  16. Od 1 sierpnia 2012 roku został utworzony Zespół Szkół nr 1 w Legionowie. From 1 August 2012, was created theSchool Complex number1 in Legionowo.

  17. Jesteśmy dumni z historii naszej szkoły i pragniemy kontynuować jej osiągnięcia w zakresie różnych przedmiotów. We are proud of the history of our school and we would like to continue its achievements indifferentsubject.
