  2. Company logos A logo is a symbol that represents and identifies a company.

  3. What makes them so memorable?

  4. What attracts customers? • Obviously, the quality of the product does, but visual images contribute a great deal. • It is not only the image of the product provided that counts but the whole corporate identity of the company that owns the product.

  6. ACTIVITY • In your pairs, you will produce a logo & a brand identity for one of the following products: shampoo Sneakers Candy

  7. With your partner pick an audience and a form for your advert: Target Audience Forms of advertising

  8. Create a Brand Identity. On a separate sheet of paper respond to these questions on brand identity: • Values of your company • What does your company think is important? • What does your audience think is important? • Services provided by your product • What is your product good for? • Why does the audience need or desire your product? • Personality of your company • What makes your company aka brand memorable? • What will the audience think of when they think of your brand?

  9. Create a Logo. It should: • Be easily connected to your product and brand identity. • Create the appropriate connotations to grab your audience’s attention and make them remember the product • Be professional in appearance. Take pride in your craftsmanship. A sloppy logo & brand = a sloppy company.
