  1. Prayer Items For God to show up and change lives at York this year. To have everyone who come to CCF taste the goodness of the Gospel of Jesus through the people in the fellowship and through the Word of God. For people who come to CCF to be plugged into the local church. For people to be more focused on who we are as God’s children and not what we do in the programs at CCF. Pray for all the leaders: Dennis, Josh, Mike Su, Wayne, Mike Wong, David, Jaclyn and Jessica for us to rely on God’s strength to not stumble and for us to remain faithful. Pray for yourselves and ask one another for prayer.

  2. Letter to Self It may seem an odd exercise to write a letter to yourself, but it is actually a very useful activity. The reason for doing this is so that you can see God working in your life. By writing a letter to yourself, you can record your inner most thoughts, hopes, worries, joys, etc. so that you can review them at a later date. Remember, the letter is for your eyes only, so don’t worry about anything that is written. This is to encourage you to be serious and honest with yourself.

  3. The way the letter works is that you will reflect on the things that are going on in your life right now and reflect on the changes you want to make in the coming year (below are questions that you may or may not want to answer). After you have finished, you seal the letter and address it to yourself. At the end of March, it will be delivered back to you. The object is to let you see how you have changed during the course of the school year, and how God has worked at answering your questions and influencing your life. The more honest you are and the more detailed you are the better. Have fun!

  4. Some Questions to consider in your letter: • How do you see your life currently – personally, family, friends, physically? Where were you a year ago? • Describe your walk with God currently. Which areas are you succeeding spiritually? What areas are you struggling with spiritually? Where were you a year ago? • What promises would you like to make to yourself and God for the coming year? • Where would you want to be in the coming year? • What are your biggest worries for the year ahead? What are you anticipating to happen for the year ahead? • What questions would you like God to answer for you in this coming year? Note: Feel free to add anything else you feel is important.
