  3. Entering Better Accent Tutor Use the mouse to double click on the icons in the following order: 3 1 4 Click OK to enter. 2 Fullerton College Skills Center

  4. Selecting a Lesson • To Begin a lesson: • Double-click the Topic you want to work on. • Double-click the Word Stress type you want to work on. • Then, double-click the exercise you want to complete. Fullerton College Skills Center

  5. You will receive 3 types of feedback Click on the desired mode of feedback to select it. Waveform Intonation Intensity/Rhythm Allows users to match the tone of the recording. For example, a rising or falling tone in a word. Allows speakers to match the length and loudness of syllables and the t of pause between words.   6. To Compare Your Speech Previously Recorded Voice Your Voice 3. Click on the bottom Play button to hear your recorded voice. 4. When you have finished recording, you can compare your pronunciation with the one above it by analyzing the differences between the patterns. • Click on the top Play button to hear the word. • Then, click on the button and repeat what you heard.   8. To exit the program click on the button from any screen. Your work will not be saved. Make a note of where you left off so that you can start on the next section on your next visit.
