Executive Summary:Updated Marine Biology Course of Study This Marine Biology Course of Study updates the previously UC-approved course of study to better reflect the course content and activities. Process : • The two teachers who currently teach the course, Shirley Ford (Bear Creek) and Sandra Starr (Tokay) wrote the updated course of study. • 7-12 Science Articulation reviewed and recommended approval - August 14, 2008 • Sent to 9-12 principals via email - August 21, 2008 • Curriculum Council approval for recommendation - September 18, 2008 Recommendation: Approval of updated course of study.

  2. Marine Biology: Course of Study Proposal • Course Objective:After completing this course, students will demonstrate a broad knowledge base with which to make responsible personal and societal decision
